This cut throat razor has a 9/16” Shoulderless Hollow ground blade
It has black Celluloid scales with a lead spacer.
Engraved on the tang are the words
“THE MAB RD”
On the reverse is “Made in England”

This interesting razor is a small version only being 21/4”
along the cutting edge & tapers slightly from 5/8” at the heel to
9/16” at the toe. This is not a corn razor!

A label on the box reads
“To keep this razor in good shaving order
we recommend that it should be stropped
regularly on the MAB Patent Pneumatic Strop
(Price 5/6) If the simple instructions are followed
the edge should keep in keen condition for many
months without re-setting. THE MAB Co

Case. Original Case worn on the ends.

Razor. I have Cleaned the razor & it has left quite a bit of pitting on the blade
& a couple of light spots on the spine.

The hone wear is light. There are no chips or cracks in the blade & the scales are fine.
Not honed Not shave ready.

Cleaning of the razors.
The razors are cleaned using a rotary wire brush
& polished using several grades of paste.
The scales are also polished.
If the edges have any chips or flea-bites these are honed out.
Although they are not sold as shave ready some may be close.
